As some people may know, I'm going to college to be a film major, so obviously I have a lot of movies and series that have inspired me.
I have not realeased any projects of my own, but I am currently trying to work on one, and I am going to try to get involved in as many as I can in college. But since I have nothing to show for myself, I will instead go over some huge inspirations of mine.
First off, the the multiple web series made by youtuber Markiplier, including In Space With Markiplier, Heist with Markiplier, and Who Killed Markiplier.
These series were some of the first "series" that made me want to act or produce, seeing a childhood youtuber of mine acting as a completely different story, and making these scenes that sometimes felt truly emotional made me feel as though I could do it too, and it made me want to try. He captured the emotions and personalities of these different characters so well, and at the time of watching the first (Who Killed Markiplier), acting as different people was something I just did naturally, I felt as though I could easily be an actor, which was supported when I entered High School, as in my Senior year I acted on stage for the first time, as well as taking a video editing course in Junior year, where I acted in the projects of multiple others.
The Truman Show. One of my favorite of all time, phenominal acting, writing and story.
The Truman Show has been a very big inspiration for me, which when I go back is strange, as I've never attempted to make something similar. It was such a unique idea, and idea of cameras being everywhere allowed for some amazing camera work, which perfected the atmosphere of the movie, and gave me many ideas of things to do with different camera angles to change the mood of scenes. It is also just a really good movie, and will always be one of my top movies.
This is less screen work and more acting, more specifically voice acting. Matthew Mercer
Voice acting is not something I thought I would ever want to do until I tried it, and when I did it was like discovering something in myself. My biggest inspiration is Matthew Mercer, because I swear to god this man is in every single piece of media I have ever watched/played. I've done small voice acting bits, more for my own projects than anything, but he has always been one of my biggest inspirations if not the biggest one.
